CLINICAL TRIALS

When We Tri(al):

TOUCH, The Black Breast Cancer Alliance is bringing together organizations from all corners of healthcare to demand better treatments and change the game for Black women, the breast cancer community, and generations to come. TOUCH drives collaborative efforts across the breast cancer ecosystem to work towards the common goal of eradicating Black Breast Cancer. TOUCH hosts The Doctor Is In – the premiere Black Breast Cancer web series with an annual viewership of 3 million – and talk one-on-one with Black Blessties every single day. MBCure was honored to have the CEO and Co-Founder of TOUCH, Ricki Fairley, as a keynote speaker at our 2024 Gala.

TOUCH’s vetted partners work every day to make finding a clinical trial easier for Black women diagnosed with breast cancer. These trials among other resources are available at whenwetrial.org.

BreastCancerTrials.org (BCT):

BreastCancerTrials.org (BCT) is a non-profit service that encourages individuals affected by breast cancer to consider clinical trials as routine options for care. To make this possible, BreastCancerTrials.org:

  • Helps individuals who are interested in breast cancer research find studies that are right for them.
  • Lists all U.S. based trials from clinicaltrials.gov and cancer.gov that are currently looking for volunteers.
  • Provides accurate information about why clinical trials are important and how they are structured.
  • Helps researchers and site coordinators connect more efficiently with volunteers who are interested in their studies.
  • Helps care providers and patient navigators find trials for patients.
