The K&J Legacy Award
We are proud to announce the launch of The K&J Legacy Award: Presented by MBCure — an annual recognition created to honor the lasting impact of Kerry and Jacquie, two remarkable women whose strength, compassion, and leadership continue to inspire our mission.
This award celebrates individuals living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) who demonstrate extraordinary advocacy, resilience, selflessness, and leadership within their communities.
CONGRATULATIONS to our 2026 K&J Legacy Award winner, Jacquelyn Vranicar!
Jacquelyn Vranicar was diagnosed with MBC at the age of 38. The gravity of her diagnosis ignited a passion within her and founded vraniCURE, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women living with metastatic breast cancer and advancing research for the most underfunded stage of the disease. Through vraniCURE, Jackie and her team of volunteers provide vraniCARE packages to women undergoing chemotherapy and mastectomies, while raising critical funds to support metastatic breast cancer research.

Driven by persistence, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to this community,
vraniCURE has raised extraordinary support — tripling its research donation from $50,000 last year to $150,000 this year alone. By the end of 2026, vraniCURE will have contributed more than $500,000 to metastatic breast cancer research, alongside immeasurable awareness, advocacy, and compassion.
Jacquelyn embodies the very spirit of the K&J Legacy Award. Her poise, positivity, and dedication shine as a guiding light for so many, reminding us what is possible when courage meets purpose—and hope leads the way.
